YOUR POSITIVE BIRTH VIDEOS ARE HERE

Let's get you feeling excited for birth

Birth is just as much mental as it is physical.

What we see & hear about birth shapes how we feel about it.

If all you’ve ever seen are chaotic TV births or emergency filled hospital shows, it makes sense that birth might feel terrifying or out of control for you.

But birth doesn’t always look like that.

It can look like…

  • Mums moving instinctively, trusting their instincts and their bodies.
  • Birth partners showing up with quiet, steady support.
  • Babies arriving in an environment of calm, strength & trust.

As you watch these videos, I'm hoping you'll notice that every single one of these women seem to know the same things.

  • They know how to breathe through contractions.
  • They know how to move their bodies to work with labour.
  • They know how to trust themselves to make the right decisions for themselves.
  • And they don't seem to be filled with fear.

So how did they get there? They didn’t just wake up one day suddenly knowing how to give birth confidently.

They prepared. They learned how birth works, how to work with their bodies, and how to trust themselves ~ even when things didn’t go exactly to plan.

And you can do the same.

A few things to notice as you watch…

Don’t just watch the births themselves. Pay attention to the little things happening around them too.

Watch what she does during contractions.
How does she move? How does she breathe? What positions does she naturally get into?

Notice the room around her.
Is it quiet? Dark? Who’s there? What seems to be helping her feel safe and comfortable?

Listen to the sounds she makes.
You might notice low sounds, slow breathing, or times where she becomes really focused and goes inward.

Notice how she’s being supported.
What is her birth partner actually doing? Sometimes the best support is surprisingly simple.

And if you see something that makes you feel a little uncomfortable, don’t skip past that either. Get curious about why it brought something up for you.

And definitely watch these with your birth partner.

It’s one thing to explain what you might need during labour. It’s another for them to actually see what good birth support can look like.

SO… COULD YOU BIRTH LIKE THIS TOO?

Yes.

The women you’ve just watched have learnt how to move with labour, what to do when contractions got really intense, how to work with their bodies and how their birth partner could actually help.

And that’s what I'd love you to take away from these videos.

You can learn this stuff too.

So while it’s fresh in your mind, think about what you just watched.

What did you see that made you think, I want that?

Was it how calm she seemed?

The way she moved?

How involved her birth partner was?

The freedom she had to follow her body?

How supported she looked?

Because THAT is where your birth preparation starts.

Not trying to convince yourself you won’t be scared.

Actually learning what you can DO when labour starts.
