You’re thinking about having me as your doula?

And, you are giving birth in Perth, Western Australia?

If you haven't worked with me before, you’re going to love how easy I will make it for you.

Let Me Show You...

I’m a mother of five so I know how important streamlining is.

Every mother I work with has a different pregnancy experience & view of birth so I will tailor my approach to meet your individual needs.

But, as an experienced doula, I think the process below works well for most families.

Step 1:

Our First Discussion

We start talking when you click this link.

We then meet via Zoom so you can see if…

You & your birth partner like me

You connect with me

You feel safe with me

We’ll talk about how I can support you through this pregnancy & birth & I’ll ask you a few questions about your previous birth experience (if relevant).

Please keep in mind that I’m often booked up to eight months in advance, so get in quick if you think you like the look of me ;)

Even though I have a lot of experience & I’m great with pregnancy & birth, the most important thing is for you to feel safe with me & to decide if I will be the right birth doula for you.

There’s no pressure to book me after our first chat.

I encourage you to interview a few doulas & find the one that you connect with the best.

Step 2:

You Say “Yes,
Let’s Birth Together”

Fantastic! I love that you & your birth partner feel safe enough with me to invite me in to the most vulnerable moments of your life.

I’ll send you my contract (so you can read through everything clearly) & an invoice for the deposit to officially secure your spot in my calendar.

I log you in to my exclusive online portal & you make your way through the steps, one by one, all clearly laid out so everything is easy.

Step 3:

I Give You Access To My Online Courses

You work your way through my three online courses at whatever pace suits you best.

In these videos, I’ll talk you through everything you need to know to prepare for birth.

You print out the workbooks (found inside the courses) & use them to journal & jot down your thoughts about your pregnancy, labour, birth & postpartum.

The workbooks are filled with questions & prompts to help you navigate all your options & confidently make informed decisions.

I will partner with you as we map out all your options & we'll write your birth preferences together, uniquely tailored to your individual situation.

In the online courses we'll cover:

âś“ Childbirth education

âś“ Coping techniques

âś“ Mindset strategies

âś“ Partner support

âś“ and all the most common medical interventions & how to avoid them

Plus:

We'll map all your options & create 3 birth plans that reflect the desires that are most important to you.

To make life easier, you can listen to the lessons while you’re folding washing or cooking dinner.

How’s that for multitasking? Motherhood in a nutshell ;)

Step 4:

We Meet Four Times → Let’s Get You Ready

It’s not just about reading workbooks or watching videos, I want you to feel educated, prepared, and totally in control of how you feel when you give birth. That’s why we’ll meet five times before your baby arrives.

These sessions are all about you.

  • Got questions?
  • Need a safe place to vent about something that’s come up?
  • Want to untangle any lingering fears & replace them with confidence?

I’m here for all of it.

In our doula dates we'll cover:

Your mindset & confidence

Because birth is just as mental as it is physical. We’ll look at how your mind works under pressure & train it to work with you, not against you.

How You Handle Stress
Everyone responds differently in labour.
Some go quiet. Some need touch. Some need space.
We’ll work out how your nervous system reacts & create strategies that feel right for you

Advocacy & Decision-Making

We’ll talk through what to expect & what your options from a place of informed decision rather than feeling rushed or overwhelmed.

Birth Partner Support
Your partner usually wants to help → they just don’t always know how.
By the time we’re finished, they won’t just be "there" for you, (standing awkwardly in the corner) they’ll be actively supporting you with confidence & purpose.

Ongoing Support? Yes!

✓ We'll have a personal group chat. You won’t be left second-guessing or sitting alone with Google spirals. I’ve got you.

âś“ Access to my full library of pregnancy, birth, & parenting books. Knowledge is power.

✓ On-call from 37 to 42 weeks. I’ll be ready when baby decides it's time.

✓ Evidence-based info at every stage so you can make the best choices for your birth.

Birth isn’t just something that happens to you, it’s something you step into with confidence.

And by the time we’re done, you’ll be more than ready.

Step 5:

Payment Is Finalised

Four weeks before you birth your baby, I will send you an invoice for the balance of your payment.

With the money side of things out the way, we plan the final preparations before you go into labour.

Step 6:

You Let Me Know When You Are In Labour

When you're in labour, I come to you.

🏠 At home

Where you’re most comfortable.
Where you can move how you want, sound how you need, & settle into your own rhythm.

I’ll support you with practical comfort techniques, steady reassurance, & emotional anchoring so you feel safe in your space → until it’s time to call the midwife or head to hospital.

🏥 At hospital

If you’re being induced or things move quickly, I meet you there.

You won’t be walking into that space alone. I’m there to help you feel grounded, informed, & supported the whole way.

And because birth is unpredictable → if for any reason I couldn’t be there, I have two trusted back-up doulas who you’ll meet beforehand, so you already know them & feel confident you’re in steady, capable hands.

Step 7:

I Stay By Your Side

When I’m with you, I’m all in.

You’ll have continuous, hands-on support.

Here’s what that looks like:

✓ My doula bag is yours. TENS machine, mood lighting, massage tools, aromatherapy oils, CUB birthing support, peanut ball, rebozo, snacks, & a multitude of other helpful things → all there to make labour more comfortable & more manageable.

Pain management. If you request it, I'll guide you through optimal maternal positioning, relaxation techniques, massage, counterpressure, & whatever else helps you work with your contractions instead of feeling overwhelmed by them.

Photos. If you’d like moments captured, I can take them with my phone or yours → but my first priority is always supporting you, so photos are a bonus, never a distraction.

I support your birth partner, too. I help them step up so they can be the strong, steady presence you need → & I’ll step in so they can take breaks, eat, breathe, & come back refreshed.

I help create the birth space you want. Calm. Safe. Intentional. A space that honours your desires so you can labour freely & without feeling watched or rushed.

After birth, I protect your golden time. Undisturbed skin-to-skin, helping with the breast crawl or maternal-led breastfeeding → making sure those first moments as you meet your precious baby are gentle & uninterrupted.

And I leave when you’re snuggled up & settled, feeling confident, & soaking in those first memories with your baby.

Step 8:

Postnatal Visit ~ Processing Birth & Settling Into Life With Baby

After your baby arrives, I’ll come to your home for a postnatal visit..

We’ll debrief your birth experience → what felt empowering, what surprised you, what you might still be processing. If you need to talk it through, ask questions, or just have someone listen, I’m guided by what you need.

I’ll also be there to offer practical support to help make the transition into newborn life a little smoother (because those early days can be beautiful, messy, overwhelming, & everything in between.)

This visit is about supporting you, your recovery, & your confidence as you step into this new chapter as a mumma.

Step 9:

A Bond That Lasts Beyond Birth

Birth is big!

It’s not just another appointment in your calendar → it’s one of those days you’ll remember forever.

Sharing that with you means we’re connected.

I love seeing your little one grow, hearing updates, & staying in touch as much (or as little) as feels right for you.

I love seeing your little one grow, hearing updates, & staying in touch as much (or as little) as feels right for you. Maybe it's a quick check in now & then or maybe you just want to send the occasional baby pic as your little one grows, know that I’ll always be here for you.

I’m not just there for the birth. I’ll always be here for you.

Birth Doula Support For Single Mothers

I recognise that as a single mum, you’re carrying a lot already.

Pregnancy & birth can feel even bigger when you don’t have a built-in support person at home → which is why this package includes two experienced doulas.

You will have complete confidence that you will not be alone or unsupported.

During pregnancy, we tag team to give you steady information, emotional reassurance, & practical preparation.

When labour begins, both of us will be with you, continuously, until your baby is born & you are safely settled in with your new little one.

This package also includes two 4-hour postpartum care visits.

Time for you to:
• debrief
• chat
• sleep
• shower
• breathe

While we pop the washing on, do light housework, bring nourishing meals, or run small errands.

This is about creating a circle of care & steadiness around you, so you don’t feel like you have to hold everything alone.

Birth Doula Support For Refugees & Asylum Seeker Mothers

I offer my services at a significantly reduced rate to women from refugee, new migrant, & asylum seeker backgrounds, especially if you have little to no support during this critical time.

Navigating Australia’s maternal health system can feel complex & overwhelming.

I can help you understand your rights, your options, & what to expect → so you don’t feel lost in the process.

My role is to support you with steady information, advocacy, & care so you can birth your baby with confidence, dignity, & continuity of support.

Please connect here to discuss how I can support you.

The Last Minute Doula

It isn't too late to call me.

I know how easy it is to plan everything… & then suddenly realise you don’t feel as ready as you thought.

Maybe you thought you’d be okay, but now you’re wanting an experienced doula beside you to help you believe in yourself & feel more steady.

Maybe the person you thought would be your birth partner is unwell. Or maybe, you’ve realised they’re just not the right person to support you in this space after all.

Whatever’s brought you here, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

I am here to help.

If there’s time, we’ll meet before the birth so you feel familiar & comfortable with me.

But if not, I can meet you at the hospital or birth centre or at your home & I will provide the kind of calm, capable support that best meets your needs in that moment.

VBAC Education Session

In this two hour VBAC (vaginal birth after caesarean) specific session, I’ll help you create a clear map & plan for your birth & talk through the holistic ways you can approach your VBAC to give you the best chance of achieving your desired outcome of a vaginal birth.

We’ll explore the benefits & risks of a VBAC & of a repeat caesarean using evidence-based information.

We’ll talk through ways to help you feel more prepared & confident in your birthing experience, giving you space to explore your thoughts, feelings & options for your baby’s birth in a friendly, safe & comfortable setting.

If you choose to ask me to be your doula after this session, I’ll take the VBAC Education Session fee off my Full Package price.

Birth Planning Session

The “right” decision for your baby’s birth is deeply personal & unique to your family.

For some, an unmedicated vaginal birth feels right.

For others, a planned induction or caesarean is the right fit.

Because every family is different, the value of this prenatal birth planning session isn’t just writing down preferences → it’s understanding your options.

You’ll be presented with clear, evidence-based information so you can make empowered decisions that feel steady & informed.

We’ll talk through potential benefits, risks & alternatives using the EBRAIN acronym, & explore anything you haven’t yet considered or feel unsure about.

This is a two-hour stand-alone session because I recognise & respect that having a doula at your birth isn’t the right decision for every family.

And if you do this session with me & later decide you’d like me beside you as your birth doula, I’ll take the Birth Planning Session fee off my Full Package price (subject to availability).

Please connect with me so we can talk about what feels best for you & your upcoming birth.
