Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions set out the agreement between you (“Client,” “You,” or “Participant”) and Bonnie Walker trading as Bonnie the Doula (“We,” “Us,” or “Our”).

By purchasing, enrolling in, or accessing any of our courses, coaching programs, or online events, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

Unless otherwise stated, all prices are in USD. For Australian in-person doula clients, payments are made in AUD.

1. Services Covered

These Terms apply to:

  • Online courses (Together We Birth, Be the Best Birth Support, Birth Doesn’t Have to Be Scary)
  • Coaching packages (group or 1:1)
  • Online workshops, masterclasses, or events

2. Scope of Services

What We Offer:

  • Birth mindset & preparation coaching (group & 1:1)
  • Access to self-paced courses including lessons, workbooks, and resources
  • Group coaching programs, masterminds, or workshops
  • WhatsApp/email support during coaching packages (as outlined in your package)

What We Don’t Offer:

  • Clinical tasks (blood pressure, cervical checks, foetal monitoring, etc.)
  • Medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
  • Legal or financial advice
  • Guarantee of specific outcomes

3. Payment & Fees

  1. Payment is required to confirm enrolment in a course, coaching program, or event.

  2. Payment options:

    • Paid in full upfront

    • Payment plan instalments as specified at checkout

  3. By enrolling, you agree to pay the full balance, regardless of completion or attendance.

  4. All fees are processed via Kajabi, Stripe, PayPal, or another nominated provider.

  5. Prices are listed exclusive of any applicable taxes. Where required, VAT/GST or similar sales taxes will be added at checkout. You are responsible for any additional taxes or duties that may apply in your country.

4. Refund Policy

Courses & Digital Products

  • Due to their digital nature, courses and downloadable resources are non-refundable once access is granted.
  • All courses and digital resources are delivered electronically. Delivery is complete when login details or access instructions are sent to the email you provide.

Coaching Packages

  • 1:1 Coaching: Sessions may be rescheduled with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. Missed sessions without notice may be forfeited. Packages must be used within the timeframe outlined at purchase.
  • Group Coaching: Missed sessions are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled. A recording will be provided if you cannot attend live.

Events & Workshops

  • If an event is cancelled by us, you will receive a full refund or credit.
  • If you are unable to attend, refunds are not available. You may request to transfer your ticket to another event (subject to availability and at our discretion).

Compassionate Consideration

  • Any compassionate exceptions apply only as outlined in the specific contract you signed at the time of purchase (e.g. coaching agreement or event agreement).

5. Client Responsibilities

By enrolling, you agree to:

  • Take full responsibility for your health, choices, and outcomes
  • Engage fully in coaching, courses, or events
  • Use WhatsApp/email support respectfully within agreed boundaries (e.g. 24-hour reply window, not for emergencies)
  • Treat group spaces and other participants with respect

Age Requirement

  • Our services are intended for adults. By enrolling, you confirm you are at least 18 years old.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All course materials, frameworks, videos, and resources remain the property of Bonnie the Doula.
  • Materials are for personal use only.
  • Copying, distributing, or reselling content without written permission is prohibited.

7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

  • Services are educational & supportive only; they do not replace medical care.
  • Always consult your healthcare providers for medical decisions.
  • Participation does not guarantee specific outcomes in labour, birth, or postpartum.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bonnie the Doula is not liable for any losses, complications, or outcomes arising from your participation.

Consumer Law

  • These Terms are governed by the consumer laws of Australia. If you are purchasing from outside Australia, you may also have rights under the consumer laws of your own country. Nothing in these Terms seeks to exclude any mandatory protections you may have under applicable law.

8. Termination of Services

We may limit or withdraw access (without refund) if you:

  • Breach these Terms & Conditions
  • Share course materials without permission
  • Are disruptive or abusive in group programs

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and applicable Australian law. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.

10. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for cancellations, rescheduling, or changes caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, emergencies, strikes, natural disasters, technical issues, or pandemics. In such cases, we will make every effort to provide equivalent services at another time.

11. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By enrolling, you consent to us storing and using your information in line with that policy, including compliance with international data protection laws such as the GDPR (Europe) and CCPA (California).
