We care about your privacy. This Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using our website, purchasing a course or coaching package, or joining an event, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are & what this covers

This Policy applies to Bonnie Walker trading as Bonnie the Doula (“we”, “us”, “our”) and to our website, online courses, coaching programs, and online events delivered through platforms such as Kajabi & Zoom (together, our “Services”).

2. The information we collect

Information you provide:

  • Contact & identity: name, email, phone, country/region, billing address

  • Account details: login/email; passwords are hashed by the platform

  • Purchase & billing: products purchased, payment status (payment card details are processed by our payment providers hosted by Kajabi; we don’t store them)

  • Coaching & community inputs: messages you send us (email/WhatsApp), call bookings, survey responses, Q&A/chat during group calls, course/community comments

  • Preferences & consent: marketing preferences, consent choices

Information we collect automatically:

  • Device & usage data: IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed, time on site, referring URLs

  • Cookies & similar tech: analytics cookies, ad pixels, session storage (see Section 7)

Information from third parties:

  • Payment processors (e.g., Stripe/PayPal) confirm payment status

  • Analytics/ads platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta) provide aggregated insights

  • Email & course platforms (e.g., Kajabi) provide engagement stats (opens, clicks, progress)

We do not collect or store sensitive health information. 


3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Provide & improve the Services (set up accounts, grant course access, deliver coaching, send recordings, support tickets)
  • Process payments & prevent fraud
  • Communicate with you (service updates, coaching logistics, reminders, changes to terms)
  • Send optional marketing about courses, events & resources (only if you opt in or where permitted; you can unsubscribe anytime)
  • Analytics & performance (to understand usage & improve the experience)
  • Legal & compliance (tax/audit records, responding to lawful requests)
  • Send optional marketing & promotional offers about courses, bundles, special discounts, or events (only if you opt in or where permitted; you can unsubscribe anytime)
  • Legal bases (where relevant under GDPR/UK-GDPR): contract, legitimate interests, consent, legal obligation.

We don’t sell your personal information.


4. Sharing your information

We share personal information with trusted providers who help us run the Services. They only receive what’s necessary and must protect it.

Typical providers include:

  • Platform & hosting: Kajabi (site, courses, email), web hosting/CDN

  • Payments: Stripe, PayPal (they process your card/bank details directly)

  • Scheduling/meetings: Calendly (if used), Zoom

  • Messaging: WhatsApp (client support), email providers

  • Analytics & ads: Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta

  • Productivity & storage: Google Workspace or equivalent

We may also share information to comply with law, protect rights & safety, or in a business transaction (e.g., sale/merger), where your data would transfer under the same protections. Providers are not permitted to use your data for their own marketing.


5. International transfers

We operate in Australia and use global providers. Your information may be stored/processed outside your country (e.g., the US, EU, UK). Where required, we rely on safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms.


6. Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy, to meet legal/tax/accounting requirements, or to resolve disputes. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.


7. Cookies, pixels & similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate our website, enable essential functionality, measure performance, and, where applicable, support advertising and promotional activities.

  • Analytics cookies – help us understand usage and improve performance (e.g., Google Analytics)

Marketing: Unsubscribe from marketing emails anytime via the link in the message, or contact us.

Access, update, delete: Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal limits.

GDPR/UK-GDPR (EU/UK residents): You may have additional rights to restrict/oppose processing, data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You can also complain to your local Data Protection Authority.

California (CCPA/CPRA): You may have rights to know/access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain sharing. We do not sell your personal information. We will verify your identity before acting on requests.

We respond within legally required timeframes.


9. Children’s privacy

Our Services are not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal information from someone under 18, all such data will be deleted immediately upon discovery.


10. Security

We use technical & organisational measures consistent with industry standards to protect personal information (encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege access, staff awareness). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we regularly review our safeguards and those of our providers.

We maintain incident response procedures and, where legally required, will notify you and regulators of any qualifying data breach.


11. Third-party links & social media

Our website may link to third-party sites or integrate with social platforms (e.g., Instagram). We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Please review their policies.


12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version. Significant changes will be notified on our website or by email where appropriate. Your continued use of the Services means you accept the updated Policy.


13. AI Transparency & Ethics

We are committed to transparency in how we use technologies within our business operations.

  • We don’t use AI to create course content, coaching resources, or anything client-facing. All of that is written, designed, and delivered by Bonnie personally.

  • We only use AI tools in the background, for things like admin, business process management, and streamlining systems, so we can spend more time supporting you directly.

  • All outputs generated with the assistance of AI are reviewed, verified, and approved by a human before use.
